Grilled halibut, yum! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I recently moved to my new place and its been a crazy and busy couple of weeks, plus I am working on some new and exciting projects for you guys, so stay tuned!
Now, lets talk about this recipe. I don’t know about you guys but I’ve always had a hard time cooking white fish. No matter how well I season white fish, it always comes out bland and sometimes too flakey. Well, I am pleased to say that I have found a remedy for seasoning white fish and making it taste amazing! The trick is to marinate it in salt, pepper and vinegar overnight, and then grilling or broiling it when you’re ready. Easy, healthy and nutritious! Wishing everyone a great week.
Recipe:
1 serving fresh halibut
1.5-2 tbsp white vinegar
half a small lemon
1 small garlic clove (grated)
salt and pepper to taste
1 large poblano pepper
Asparagus (as many as you’d like)
1. First marinate your halibut. Mix your vinegar, lemon, garlic, salt and pepper and rub it on your halibut. Place your halibut in the refrigerator overnight.
2. Preheat your oven to 400°F and turn on your grill. Place the halibut on the grill and grill both sides until a light brown crust forms. Set aside when ready.
3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roast your poblano peppers and asparagus in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.
4. Enjoy your protein packed meal!
