Green smoothies are basically my morning coffee and I cannot go without having one everyday. I say a green smoothie a day keeps the doctor away! Recipe:
1 small frozen banana
Half a granny smith apple
1 small orange (peeled)
A handful of organic kale
2 cups organic baby spinach
5-6 cucumber slices
3 tbsp organic hemp seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 cups water
Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Alternatively, you can blend your greens first before adding the remaining ingredients.
